Description
A close up of a pretty pink and green toned hydrangea flower with all its intricate petals forming and growing alongside each other. Hydrangea is a genus of 70 to 75 species of flowering plants native to southern and eastern Asia and in the Americas. They can symbolize vanity and boastfulness (because of the abundance of petals and lavish shape) or gratefulness to someone who expressed understanding. They also have medicinal value in that they are used to treat the urinary tract such as bladder infections, kidney stones and other urinary problems. They are an interesting shrub plant and make great landscape plants. Slight graphic effects were given to this photograph to portray an illustrative image.
