Description
This little plant called Oxalis grows wild and is actually considered as a weed. I was taking macro photographs in a field by my house and spotted these little yellow flowers. Their leaves look like little hearts to me. I am glad this field is pretty much left alone for all the wild plants and flowers to grow there.
Oxalis is also called Wood Sorrel and many call it a ‘lucky’ plant because its leaves are shaped like clover. They are poisonous to pets so it is best not to let animals eat it.
