Description
I joined the 5-day challenge in July 26-30, 2021 and the theme for this challenge is Green. Here is my ‘Day 2’. There is a meadow that I live near that has all kind of wild plants and trees growing in it. I will be posting a photograph of as much total green of nature to fill my frame for this challenge. However, today this image is from my front garden where I planted lilies and iris flowers.
This is a close up of a Crinum Lily leaf that was long and curvy. My editing consisted of a slight underpainting technique to bring out the subtle stripes in the leaf and tones of the green. It is slightly panoramic to emphasize the curves in this area of the leaf.

Awesome capture Gaby! I had several varieties of Crinum Lilies in MS including two different pink ones from my late Mother In Law, one of which was called Milk & Wine Lily (striped). The leaves are as graceful as the blooms are pretty and you've done a nice job of capturing that grace.

Thank you so much, Kathy! These Crinum lilies were given to me by my daughter's sister-in-law and they were her Grannie's heirloom lilies from Louisiana. I felt honored to keep them going. Thank you for your kind words!
