September 11, 2022, Journal Blog Entry:
Strength and hope sometimes goes hand in hand, for me. The strength I gather from God’s word and the prayers of friends and family bolster me up. One of the definitions in the Hebrew language, of the word ‘courage’, means to bind or fortify. That is what God’s word does all throughout the bible. Binding the words of the Lord to my heart will always fortify my faith and gives me comfort that He knows everything going on in my life. I can have that reassurance of strength 24/7.
I also want to mention today, a day of remembrance of the victims and the brave from 9/11, that I pray for God’s comfort to those who lost them.
