Description
I joined the 5-Day FAA Challenge for a ‘Door or Doors’ in November 2023 and I created this artwork today for Day 5. I enjoy working in graphic art and patterns and thought this challenge would be good for me to be creative for this holiday season coming up. I obtained this old barndoor from the public domain and then heavily edited it with Christmas décor. I processed the image with an animated technique for an illustrated cartoon-like appearance. I added the flourishes to the door and added the stars and ribbon at the top and on the door boards. I also added a cat at the right bottom of the door and a mouse on the top board of the barn, to add a touch of whimsy to the image. I think this makes a fun, festive Holiday Christmas setting.
