Description
This is a beautiful purple toned Bearded Iris flower growing in my garden. I think these flowers are amazing. I processed this image in an impressionist and painterly style for a slight textural appearance.
Some gardeners state that the name of the Iris comes from the Greek goddess by that name, others state that since the Greek word for iris is rainbow, that the name is because of the many colors that iris flowers come in. This yellow Iris has gold lines through its petals.
