Description
There is a meadow nearby me that has many wildflowers growing at different times of the year, the flowers here are called Gregg’s Mist flowers and they attract the Monarch butterflies when they migrate through. These three monarchs were flying around the group, from flower to flower, as they sipped nectar. I was happy to get this photograph of them as they all rested for a few seconds at one time! Their color tones really stand out in the green of the wild grasses.
