There is a town near us called Nocona and it boasts as the Classic Car Capital of Texas. We drive through this town frequently and always see classic cars parked around town. There are a couple of classic, vintage car museums in this town. This cute little car was parked in an old parking lot. The car door was advertising one of the museums. It is a Crosley sedan and in a pretty aqua blue color. I believe this one is a 1951 model.
Crosley cars were first built in 1939 by a man named Paul Crosley. In 1942 he stopped making the cars due to the war, but there was a total of about 5000 cars made by then. It was started up again until 1952 when production stopped for good. They were small, rounded cars at 10 feet long and light as well. In 1942 they topped out at 50 miles per hour and also stated they got 60 miles per gallon. Fun Fact: Humphrey Bogart owned one. There were other notable people that had a Crosley as well, such as Gloria Swanson and Nelson Rockefeller. A very interesting little car!

What a cool image Gaby! Thanks for the info, too, as I had never heard of the Crosley.
