I joined the 365-day Journal challenge for 2022 and here is my ‘Day 330’.
November 26, 2022, Journal Entry:
This is my other sister’s orchid plant, from a few weeks ago. It was blooming so many flowers and looks so sculptural in its form. I edited the image with a slight watercolor painterly style and texture. These are Phalaenopsis orchid flowers.
Phalaenopsis is also called moth orchid and is probably the best type orchid to grow in the home. They are native to the tropical regions of Australia and Asia. The leaf joints of the plant grow the flower stalks and they can bloom for over a month at a time. They are easy to take care of in the house as they will not survive outside in the United States.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art.
