I joined the 365-day Journal challenge for 2022 and here is my ‘Day 77.
March 18, 2022, Journal Entry:
As we drove down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) near Malibu, these kiteboarders were out on the ocean catching the wind. The water was choppy and I was amazed at these guys’ prowess in staying up on their boards and riding the wind and waves. I edited my photograph this morning and gave it a poster-like style with a jagged border around the edges of the image to emphasize an intense attitude. I also added the words in the hazy sky to continue the poster appearance. These sportsters were killing it out there.
Kiteboarding, also known as kitesurfing, is an extreme sport where a person is using a surfboard or a type of wake board with their feet strapped to it, and a harness devise attached to a kite to catch the wind and glide across the waters. They can catch waves and fly up into the air as they travel across the ocean.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art.
