This is Bearded Iris in an illustrative and painterly style and given a square format for an abstract impression. Iris flowers are a spring flower and have many colors. These are purple and yellow and the photograph was taken from under the flowers looking up to the sky. In my editing process I wanted to emphasize the textures and colors.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture.
