November 28, 2022, Journal Entry:
I am going through my archives to pick out seasonal photographs to edit and I found this holly berry close up from years ago when I went to Katy, Texas. I edited it with a mild painterly style and texture and added an off-white edgy and rustic border around it. It looks like it might be either a Round Leaf Holly or Common Winterberry Holly. The birds love these berries, but they are not edible for humans.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art. I have slowly started to paint again which I haven't done since the 1970's. I have a few of my paintings...
