December 2, 2022, Journal Entry:
Years ago, we visited one of my daughters in Colorado and she had a Christmas village set up on her mantle. I photographed it at night when the lights were off and just the village was lit up in purple tones. I edited this image by adding a Nativity on the left and a sun flair in the shape of a cross over the church steeple. Then I processed the image in a mild painterly style and added what is becoming my signature edgy rustic icy looking border, because I seem to use it a lot in this holiday season!

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art. I have slowly started to paint again which I haven't done since the 1970's. I have a few of my paintings...
