Day 4 - I joined a 4-day challenge starting December 20, 2022 and the theme for this challenge was “Christmas Baubles and Presents”. I enjoy working in graphic digital art, so I created this Christmas bauble with a color block abstract pattern in mostly blue tones. I added a color toned matching top, setting it against a burlap fabric background in a slight pointillism style in like color tones. I also added a string that the bauble ornament is hanging on as well.
Christmas ornaments, or baubles as they are known as around the world, on trees are thought to have started with a German tradition of placing things like candles and fruits on evergreen trees around the 16th century. Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art.
