Description
I joined the 365-day Journal challenge for 2022 and here is my ‘Day 207.
July 26, 2022, Journal Entry:
This is a pretty golden yellow toned rose from my mother’s garden. It grew diagonally and by itself on a strong stem. I edited it with a watercolor painterly style and mild textured format for an appearance like an antique style botanical print.
Yellow roses have been around since at least the 18th century, discovered growing in the Middle East and Asia. Yellow roses mostly are sent to symbolize happiness, friendship and care. They are used in wedding bridal bouquets as happiness.

Well done Gaby. My mother's china has yellow roses on it and my dad used to send her yellow roses.
Gaby Ethington replied:
Thank you, Kathy! So neat that your mother's china had yellow roses and that your dad sent them to her too!
