February 1, 2022, Journal Entry:
I had to go to town yesterday to the local post office and on my drive through the country I see ranches and farms. These three cows were resting near the farm fence in the sunshine, so I stopped to take photographs. They couldn’t care less that I was at the fence but did give a curious look. The middle cow is a Charolais breed and the other two are Texas Longhorns and boy, do they have big horns! They have sweet faces too. I uploaded the photographs and chose this one to edit this morning and gave it a slight painterly style with a mild canvas texture. I made a pun with the Three Musketeers - Three MusCowteers.
The Texas longhorn is known for their horns that can grow as long as 5 feet or more. They are descended from the first cattle to America and can have diverse colors and these two, one laying down and the other in the back.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art.
