Description
This yellow rose had just started to peel back its green covering of the bud when I photographed it. I processed the image with a slight painterly style which emphasizes the singleness of the flower.
Yellow roses have been around since at least the 18th century, discovered growing in the Middle East and Asia. Yellow roses mostly are sent to symbolize happiness, friendship and care. They are used in wedding bridal bouquets as happiness. A yellow rose with red or pink tips can mean you are falling in love with the person you give them to. At any rate, they are so pretty and look like a cheerful flower.
