I joined the 365-day Journal challenge for 2022 and here is my ‘Day 39’.
February 8, 2022, Journal Entry:
This is a very Periwinkle toned close of water ripples. It is a combination of blue and lavender hues. I decided to find a photograph in my archives of water, and I found this pretty photograph I captured years ago. I was at a lake and the wind made the water ripple in small waves and contours. It takes on an abstract feel because the sun was shining on parts of the wavy water and made a reflecting gold aura. I tweaked the image hues to get the periwinkle blue tone and I am really happy with how it came out.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture.
