Description
These pretty melon-orange toned wildflowers are called Indian Paintbrush and grow in meadows and fields in the Spring time in Texas. I like this shot because of the yellow spots of other wildflowers interspersed in the meadow.
Indian Paintbrush, also called Red Indian Paintbrush is a wildflower seen in the south. The technical name is Castilleia Miniata. They come in various tones of red, from peachy orange to bright red.
