July 27, 2022, Journal Entry:
When walking around the community near my mother’s place, these pretty purple Freesias were blooming together in a garden setting and this one flower had a dew drop still hanging on the bottom petal, which drew my eye to it. I edited it with just a hint of tone enrichment but otherwise it was pretty nice on its own with the green leaves and purple flowers making a nice combination of colors.
Freesia (Freesia spp.) is a bulb flower and native to Africa. There are many occasions for use of this flower, mainly it is used as a filler in wedding bouquets as it comes in a variety of colors. They grow to 2 feet tall and bloom in Spring and Summer.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art.
