Although day lily flowers are vibrant in color I processed this in black and white for the dramatic effect it invokes. I believe it makes you study the image with all the monochromatic tones of the petals. Day lilies are a summer flower and have a tropical look to them.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture.
