November 1, 2022, Journal Entry:
There are some pretty trees around my sister’s place and as I was walking around her garden, I saw these big leaves of a tropical looking tree. The sun was shining on part of them and the shade was darkening part of them. I thought it would make an interesting abstract, with all the green tones. I edited the image with a mild gouache style.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture. My Photographic Scripture Collection is called 'Faith-Devotional' and is listed first in my Collections tab because I want to honor God first in all that I do in life and art. I have slowly started to paint again which I haven't done since the 1970's. I have a few of my paintings...
