Artist's Description
The Christmas star for 2020 are the planets Jupiter and Saturn, where they appeared closest together since the year 1623. I set up my camera on my tripod on the evening of December 21st which is also the Winter Solstice and as I only have a 300 mm lens, this is what I got which is surprisingly clear and you can see other stars as well. It was a beautiful but cold night and exciting to get this image. I am in north Texas and really glad we had a very clear night.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas. In addition, I have taken to processing some of my photographs with digital art effects which brings out an artistic flair in an abstract or painterly style. I dabble in other genre of photography such as food, architecture and road trip travels. I also enjoy pairing up my photographic art with Bible Scripture.
