This beautiful animal is a White-tailed deer buck with big antlers. He stood with a curious pose at the edge of a field meadow near me that I walk through frequently. I love to photograph the bucks as they come through which is not very often. I decided to process this image in sepia tones.
White Tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) are herbivores and the smallest of deer in North America. When running they can actually sprint up to 30 miles an hour and leap up to 10 feet in the air. These deer are usually found in brushy and wooded areas. It is estimated there are more than 3 million deer in Texas.

Hello! My main focus is nature photography, which is my favorite subject, especially flora and fauna that are naturally around my area in North Texas.
